The objective of this work was to investigate the combined effect of grafting the peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 162-168 of osteopontin and the peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 73-92 of bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2) to an RGD-conjugated inert hydrogel on osteogenic and vasculogenic differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells.
